Lane Coder is an award winning photographer based in Connecticut. In the featured works below, Coder encourages his audience to partake in a series of different realities. With somber lighting techniques and a contemporary use of color, he invites his viewers into worlds of openness and nostalgia.
Raised in New Canaan, CT, Coder started photography at 19 years old. Since then, his career has led him to travel the world. Living in New York, Paris, and LA, he has shot for Vogue, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, and worked with popular clients such as Apple, Coca Cola, and Smirnoff.
Aside from his BFA from The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, Coder's accomplishments also include numerous awards and works featured in a permanent collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
